Who’s Richard?
Graduating McMinnville High School in 2014, Richard has first hand familiarity with the struggles of the working class residents of Mac, having worked at Walmart, car dealerships and local hotels. Now, a local business owner Richard has committed himself to community organizing and serving his city.
Richard is now seeking to improve his community through service. By tackling inefficient spending on the city level, the lack of affordable housing, and the existential threat posed by data centers coming to our community. Richard will put his lived experience on the dais and fight for solutions that work for all people in Mac, not just the richest.
Richard has served on McMinnville’s Affordable Housing Commission as well as the South West Area Plan committee.
In his free time Richard enjoys astrophotography, tabletop gaming, reading, baseball and movies
